It's been a while since I last posted as I've been quite busy meeting my deadlines with the on going projects but I thought I would share how I have developed my fashion illustrations. I started off by simply stitching the basic model silhouette and I added my samples that I created in Textiles on to it. I then thought that this was quite similar to my last project that I did so I thought of other things.
I then decided to use samples on a real life model as it gave me more of an idea as to what they would look like as a garment. Here are how I developed it using my water soluble film samples which I have mentioned in a previous post.

Water Soluble samples as a garment |

I was seeing if the garments fitted the model |

Seeing if it fit again |

I was very happy with the end result as it was very different from how I started so there was a lot of development but also I like the garments on the models.
